I know, but since "Sherry" is the B'way version of the man who came to dinner it's the same nonetheless ^^

You mean it's the "musical" version. "The Man Who Came to Dinner" was on broadway before "Sherry" was written, not to mention it's been on broadway more times, and has at least two movies of it. ;)

i know XD But I think it doesn't matter...since the texts are the same...And I finally got the whole idea due to the song i heard in "Sherry", even though it is in "The man who came to dinner"...it also was in "The Stepford wives" btw, but that's not the point ^^

It was in the "Stepford Wives" too? I haven't seen either of them, so I probably wouldn't have caught the reference. Do you know which one it was in? You've sparked my movie trivia curiosity. :P

erm...the enwer version with Nicole Kidman and Matthew Broderick, if I'm not mistaken...when they arrive in Stepford, there's a festival (looks like Independence day or something) and they do a country dance, while Glen Close sings this ...^^'
