Let me guess, your differring opinion is that races should live separately, and /or that poor people are trash who refuse to work and / or minorities are all bad etc etc.

I swear, i'd allow people not to pay taxes. Then deny them every service funded by them. They couldn't use roads maintained by the state, firefigthers, the police, and ambulences that are not for private hospitals, would not be allowed to help them, public schools for their kids would be out of the question, nor could those people vote or be voted on.

I once got blocked by someone because I +watched a group that was against SJWs. Like the bad kind of SJWs that call in bomb threats at discussions and shit like that. I used to have a "friend" who'd always whine about being blocked. Turns out, he pesters people incessantly and then stalks them. He started giving my own spouse that treatment so... I blocked him and so did they. Little pest keeps turning up in places trying to re-establish contact.

It's uncommon but I will admit to preemptively blocking people if I know of their history from friends or their profile page makes it clear I really don't want to deal with them. This however is mostly to people who I have a very high chance of running into. I mean we ignore or avoid people IRL cause we may not like how they act/behave so why do we have to give a reason on the internet?

Well, I would say that some folks are a tad oversensitive, but that's their prerogative.
I've had two people block me for an (At least supposedly) humorous smart-assed comment that they took too personally, and since they blocked me without communicating, I had no chance to explain myself. No doubt they just wrote me off as an a-hole. Someone else blocked me who I wasn't even following, and I don't think I had even communicated with, so, ?
At least for my part, if I was going to block someone, I would at least be sure we both knew why and had a chance to discuss it first.
Some folks seem rather easily butthurt, but once again, that's their choice. I haven't had any reason to consider blocking anyone yet, and I don't think I would unless someone was straight-up harassing me, but then, it would take a lot to really offend me in general...

I think it's annoying when so many people in this thread already have me blocked before they even say anything directly towards me, well 1 person did that, and like 5 people implied it. I had a few close calls, in which I almost joined in, but decided to let Social Darwinism take effect.
The meaning of the art was completely misunderstood/blown out of proportion by so many... so there's some bonus points.

5. I'm a total edgelord. (I main Reaper and blast slam metal... even on Christmas)
6. I had all A's in speech and debate
7. I'm actually pretty reasonable in person. (the internet does horrible things to your sanity)

People who get blocked like that will probably try to demand to know the "truth" and want a clear answer for being blocked. So be careful on the possibility of them showing up on other sites under a different name demanding the "truth" from you if they're smart enough to not harass your friends to get it for them.
Also, if you're going to block someone, make sure you don't say something to them and then do it. Because if what you say to them is not a reason or a (very) subtle hint that you're blocking them as of that moment, then the possibility that I wrote earlier will be more likely to happen to you.
I've been blocked for very politely asking someone to mark his adult/mature art correctly instead of leaving it as General, blocked for telling someone who draws only one fetish (which I myself am into) that I was glad to see him draw something else once in a while, blocked for telling someone loudspeaker virtue signalling that being pro-LGBT isn't a big deal on furry sites because most furries are pro-LGBT, and so on.
