I in particualr love the look of the ship, I'm a fan of Verne's stuff, especially 20k.
I really wanna check this out when it comes out.
one of he parts that sticks out of my head the most is the ship concepts art (especially the third) it just so fits really well with this song
speaking of which, does this sound clip have a name? or is it an original?

Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad you like it. ^^
The Music is original and I actually do own all the copy rights to the films themes and score.
The basic melody used in this rough MIDI version will be the main theme of the film (Untitled for now). There will be better sound and some real instruments in the complete version. There's also a Hero theme I'm working as well.
The soundtrack will be one of the extra features available after I finish it (Details on that soon to come in my Journal).
As for the ship, the original drawings will be available as an extra as well (Major details on that later too). You can see another render of the ship here: http://fc04.deviantart.com/fs50/f/2....._Stitchfan.jpg
The film's setting has evolved slightly from a vernian steam-punk feel to a slightly more WWII-techno with hints of vernian thrown in. But that's one thing that makes the "Enigma" (Nautilus AirShip) stand out, it's more Victorian looking than the other WWII-ish ships of the film.
Feel free to ask any questions you'd like about the production of the film. I'd be happy to reply as best as possible. Stay tuned for the next press-release update (in my journal) as I have big news! ^^

Interesting concept. You are aware you've more or less re-created Vernes "Master of the World" right? heh-heh.
Looks good so far. Like the ship and character designs. Probably helps I like the novel alot. Both the Nautilus and the Albatross feature in one of my sci-fi board games. And currently developing a tactical board game taking the story out into the solar system.
Looking forward to seeing this continued!

You are correct! The finished film has been shortened into an animated trailer for an audio drama (The finished trailer is not online yet).
The audio drama will follow the original script for what would have been the animated film. I based it on Verne's 20,000 Leagues, but added other Vernian concepts and characters. Robur is portrayed as the Nemo's nemisis. I won't give away the few plot twists and alterations I've added here just yet though... The Audio Drama will be released online this summer (If my schedule holds together) for free download.

Actually, I finished a very short version of the film and showed it at the university's film fest.
Unfortunately, it was less of a short and more of a trailer with spoilers. It was rushed, and mostly unfinished.
Since it wasn't really finished the way I had planned, the project was shelved.
I still like the idea, and hope to pick it back up again some time in coming years and do it right. ^__^
(And maybe release it to DVD)
