It's all about thrill at the loss of control, honestly in terms of mentality it's almost an offshoot of extreme bondage in a way. Objectification, profound physical restraint, it's in the same vein of thinking. And most of the time it's not permanent, even if it may last a long while! (Though there's some fun to be had in perceived permanence for sure, I love playing with the idea of "not knowing" whether it is or isn't, could be a transformation for an hour, could be a year, that's what I love )
