Another Avali in a sock, this time for

A thing I just noticed about Avali: Some avali characters I've drawn have white sclera (the white parts of your eye), and others have dark grey/almost black. I'm wondering, is there like, a "correct" color for the species? Can they have either one? I've checked the wiki and the species creator's FA but it's not established anywhere that I've found...
For now I guess I'll just do it based on the ref sheet I'm handed. But I am curious!

Technically, Avali have nearly black eyes, with only the barest hint of color in their irises. They also have purple/lilac colored blood, so things like their tongues are likewise colored.
A lot of people draw them with the white sclera probably because that's how human eyes look and it makes them look more human.
