I think I'm the only person here who absolutely despises Buzzwole despite being into beefy muscle characters. But then, I hate all the Ultra Beasts... sooo...

What exactly do you dislike about Buzzwole and the Ultra Beasts?

The entire concept of 'Ultra Beasts' clashes with the lore of established Pokemon who also originated from space/another dimension (Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Deoxys, etc).
They also look very abstract, like they came from a Shin Megami Tensei game rather than Pokemon. This especially applies to Buzzwole and Pheromosa.
The game hypes them up as these super powerful beings whose appearance in the setting would spell disaster and yet most of them aren't really any better or worse than a typical legendary both in-game and in-story.
The term "Ultra Beasts" sounds very lame and amateur/fanfic quality, especially from an established company like Gamefreak.

For Buzzwole itself, I hate that its name was based on a meme/slang term. And again, I don't like its concepts and design, despite being into (hyper) muscle. GF really dropped the ball when it came to UBs.

Well, I respect your opinion, but I mean, the name "Ultra Beast" and the way they look is supposed to represent just what you said; they're supposed to look like they came from somewhere completely unknown and different. Despite previous Pokémon sharing some things with them like being from space in the same dimension or being able to go through time, they never quite went to this extent with the idea and I for one think they did a pretty good job in doing so, but again, I respect your opinion, and thank you for sharing!
