I feel like any sort of lore I’ve written out about Rita is rather depressing, between the Chrome Works series, and the ‘Artificial Pain’ piece ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21794652/ ), I’ve unintentionally painted a very depressing life for Rita. But these aren’t typical days for her, so I decided to write a story in a more positive light for the robot catgirl.

I originally had thought about a typical day at work with Rita, but it felt rather ho-hum. Just a little too typical for her. So I wrote a story of her after work.

I originally had Rita and her co-workers go out and paint the town red, but I couldn’t think of anything rather special to do in a city (a fault of myself, since I’m terribly introverted) and just had them go ice skating. But still, I wanted to squeeze in some sledding and a snowball fight. It’s a pretty clumsy plot, but I did what I had to do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Although I might do a “reprise” of the snowball fight in a more Team Fortress-like manner.
