Is there any place in the world better than British Columbia? I doubt it. The fact that you can drive an hour out of Vancouver and get into a place like this to jsut go for a hike is overwhelmingly awesome.

Golden Ears is the name of the mountian we tried to get up on, though we only made it 6.5 kms along the trail before turning back. Its about a 11-12 km hike to the peak, and 5600ft elevation up to the top.
