Somehow, this came partly from reading a book where the validity of atheism vs worship/belief in gods is briefly debated. The
dialogue ends with something like, "I'm not worried [that your lack of faith will ruin the ritual] because it would be the first proof
that lack of belief has any power at all." The physics-based portion comes from talking science stuff with friends. Honestly, this
above my level, but I trust the people who actually do that stuff for a living. But I suspect that no one who reads this will
be expert enough to say otherwise. Wait, I wasn't supposed to say that last part.
