Well, at least at AX this year. Being Assistant Manager of Main Events (woo hoo) meant I was also Technical Director for the Main Events video. So I'd be sitting to the left (like the chocobo didn't give that away?) in front of the switcher, while Panther would sit to the right and direct.

This is another great example of a volunteer job that I would do any day of the week instead of working in an office. 14-16 hour days were the norm for the whole convention, but it didn't matter. The people were great, the job was fun, I felt like I was actually doing something. The highlight was when I walked backstage laughing from something someone had just said and I threw my arms up in the air and said, 'Why can't work be like this? Why only four days out of the year?'

Hopefully I can find a job I enjoy as much as my volunteer work. Someday...
