He's a binturong, they're a type of big mustelid with a prehensile tail.

Oooo, so lucky! The closest I've ever gotten was a stuffed one in a museum. I'd love to get to see a live one up close. They're so amazingly cute, I'm surprised the species isn't more popular here.
