The holidays are truly a time of relaxation and happiness and a time to spend with family, like a scene shown in this picture of the people I have come to consider the closest family I have ever gotten to know.

From left to right, we have Sol, a guardian Guilmon sitting down in his own seat drinking his hot chocolate, likely relaxing from a short night, working hard to get the living room of his house to look festive and vibrant for his family. Relax~ it is time to celebrate and share time with the family, your work is greatly appreciated down to the finest details.

Next we have Sven, the second youngest and still child at heart among the family, always eager to see what may have been left for him under the tree this year~ I believe Sol may have had something special in store this year for him, or perhaps he may be trying to sort out his presents along with Toto's so that he may give them to his younger brother.

In the middle we have both Yami on the left and Kai on the right, two love birds who seem to have already gone through the tree, at least for not~ as soon as one had found that someone left them both a present under both their names, finding a blanket inside, Kai wanted nothing more than to embrace the "spending time with family" part of Christmas with Yami, and it does not seem that Yami is wanting to object at all~ who would blame him~?

And finally on the right we have Ray holding his own dear Cubone son, Toto. Toto is still the youngest of the family, and has thus still not gotten used to waking up very early for such festive times, so Ray is willing to help let the little ground type catch a few more Z's before he may be ready to open up the presents left under the tree for him.. maybe it is a good thing Sven may be helping out with present sorting (that is if he can resist the excitement of opening his own first)

Together the family will have a wonderful time, with sweets in their stockings, and a grand feast following suit later in the day, their company with one another becoming the cushion that fills the time. None could be happier than to spend the time with one another, and therefor, a very Merry Christmas shall be had~

This piece is truly wonderful, but before I mention credits, I do wish to give at least a few small notes to the people featured in this picture mainly, and to a few others in general.

First and foremost, Veevee. I remember meeting you long ago first as a fellow writer that had been recommended to see me from Toto, and from that encounter onward, I have come to know you well, and have been able to help you along the way through this past year, and you have done the same for me. While there may have been a few downs, some more notable and impactful than others, it is our strength and faith that we hold for one another that makes me happy to be able to call you a close family member. I wish to be able to do so much for you in the future, and I hope I may. Thank you for helping me along the way, and moreso for allowing me to help you in your times of need.

Asa, while out of all of us, you may be the one I know least about, but that does not diminish how good of a person I think you are, especially for Veevee. You are strong of mind and being, focused and determined, someone that can help Veevee greatly, and I am happy that both of you are in a dedicated relationship with each other, and I wish for nothing but the best for both of you~ Stay strong, my friend.

and last, but most certainly not least.. in fact, the last mention is the one I hold closest to my heart, and means the most to me... Toto. I have already left my own comment on your post of the same picture, but it is well worth stating again here that you mean the world to me.. and even more beyond that. Since the day I have first met you, I have had the honor of watching you grow, becoming more comfortable and confidant, and most of all, watching you blossom as a writer, and in general over all. You know what hopes and wishes I have for both you and I in the future, and no words can describe how much I wish to be able to hold you in my arms and tell you everything I want to that I simply can't with just words on a screen.. you are precious, you are amazing, you are my wonderful, loving, gentle and caring child.. I could never ask for anything more than to see your happiness shine, and so I swear, no matter any hardship, no matter any hold up, no matter what.. I will always be here for you, forever and ever, your loving Papa.. Papa Ray~

To those that know me, do share time with your families and friends this season. Happiness is often considered the best emotion one can have and is therefor the best gift to give to someone. But do keep in mind also that it is ok to spend time for yourself as well once in a while as well. While this season is one of great joy, it is also prone to many stresses, and wanting time to yourself is only natural. I put the trust in all of you that you know what is best for you, and if you do need time, it is ok to say so, I am sure that everyone will understand, as they have had the same feeling on their own as well.
