A wonderful winter home for the lady Thetral. A christmas gift, because she's told me so often she would love to visit such a place, but living in a desert certainly complicates being able to do so!
Nicotine-Mayhem Did this, This is for
Thetral and I would definitely like to thank both of them! ^^

It had started as almost a joke. What do you get for a being who seems to have it all?
It had been a hot summer day when it all started. Tyler and Josh were both engaged in lofty and cherished duties of one of Thetrals chosen “Pets” in this particular case, it involved them cleaning and dusting the volumes of her private Library.
The two had learned early on that one of the trade offs of living in the highest, most opulent and secluded reaches of Thetrals domain, meant that chores and duties typical taken by the cleaning staff, were delegated to the Pets when they were not “in use” The two humans had spent the better part of the afternoon going through tomes that were mostly from the flat mystical world they now lived on, although every so often they would come across something that reminded them of why it was their Mistresses “Private” Library.
“Hey Tyler! I found another!” This was Josh from further down the stacks. Tyler, short stocky with a bushy brown beard dropped the scrubbing brush he had been diligently using on the intricately tiled marble floors.
“This should be good! The last one had some pretty freaky pictures in it.”
“Freaky is putting it mildly, half of those things looked like a Tentacle monster on a bad hair day” The two laughed as Tyler sat next to Josh. The cleaning progress had gone slow since every once in a while their work was interrupted with them finding yet another book which was certainly NOT of the the world, or perhaps not of the same dimension. The one Josh currently held looked normal enough, but when Josh opened it up, the words, if you could call the markings that, began to make his eyes water.
“Oh that is messed up, I’d swear those..were moving.” Tyler said, pulling his glasses for a moment to rub his eyes. Josh chuckled and thumbed through a few pages before the book was snatched away quickly.
“I thought I heard you two boys goofing off back here!” A loud and deep voice bellowed, snapping the two into attention. It was Maria, a huge Bull Woman who was also the chief Librarian of Thetrals realm overseeing both the normal, and not so normal books the Dragon Succubus had collected.
“Um, hi Maria” Tyler said a bit shyly. Despite the time he had spent, and some of the things he had done, and been done to him, he was still rather intimidated by the large women who inhabited Thetrals domain. Josh was less shy these days, and had himself spent a few afternoons “Under” Marias’ service as it were.
“You two make me questions whether I should have marked all of the “alien” books in the first place. Keep this up and I’ll lock them all away for good. And don’t think The Lady would be pleased about me having to do that either!” The big lady bovine barked with a ‘tut tut’ inflection in her voice. She sighed and put the book of Elditch horror to haunt the soul, back on the shelf before continuing on. “Her Ladyship lets you two clean up back her because, well, she knows you two are not rightly from this world so its less a danger you finding things you shouldn’t. Some of the things Her Ladyship collects. Well, all I can say is I am glad I don’t have the knowing of some of the more strange tomes in this room.”
Josh and Tyler looked down briefly, both properly admonished at this point
“Sorry Maria, it’s just we think of home at times, and finding some of the books from other worlds lets me, well us, feel a bit close to our own world.” Josh said.
“That the truth of it then you two? Just a bit home sick?” Maria said and Tyler nodded.
“It is something like that” he said, fanning himself with a brush as the warmth was getting a bit much in the room. “I think it is more, well, we keep thinking we might find other books from our own world. Well new ones. We have found others but there kind of, well, really old.”
Maria sighed, she liked the two Humans. Most of Thetrals other Pets spent much of the time in the pets quarters, usually playing games or relaxing. They also tended to be much younger then these two, and had much short attention spans. The big cow girl liked that, particular in Josh whom she had more than once tested to see just how long he could focus himself on certain tasks. The big Bull woman shivered, blast this heat. Oh how she could do with a bit of such service right now. A nice tongue right between her legs was just what she could go for. A nice, good human tongue, with hair she could hold tightly as she shoved herself against him, that soft smooth skin against her corse fur….
“Um, Maria are you ok?” Josh asked as Maria had suddenly gone rather silent, her expression drifting into a pleasant if distant look.
“Oh Auch, I just, remembering something is all lads.” she said, trying to gain her composure. As if suddenly trying to draw attention away from the fact that she had just been moments from pleasuring herself… She turned quickly. “You know boys, I may have something her for you. Maybe one of your ‘earth’ books thats a bit more from your time, I think.” She said and moved down an hallway, her huge cloven hooves echoing on the now polished marble floor. She busied herself in some boxes, and returned a short moment later.
“Her you lads are, maybe this will be what ya after.” A book was thrust into Joshs hands. It was from Earth, the picture on the front was instantly recognizable.
“It-it’s a Christmas tree!” Tyler said as Josh opened it.
“Funny name for a Tree” Maria said as she watched the two look thorough the book. It seemed a book of stories from what she could make out, although every so often there were pictures. “I looked at it a few times myself. Lots of pictures of Winter, they always looked very cozy.” She said.
“Yeah, it is, its a bunch of Christmas stories. Looks like it’s from the 50’s don’t you think Tyler?”
“Probably, from the look of the pictures, shame some of the first few pages are missing, would have had a date.”
“Earth celebration?” Maria inquired. Despite being a Librarian, she did not read much herself. She thrived on organizing information, but the knowledge itself she felt was better suited for others.
“Well, certain parts of Earth, it is mostly a winter celebration. Most humans way back celebrated the end of winter, they would give gifts to each other and presents. Lots of celebrating, kind of similar to, well you have a celebration during the winter as well. Although without the presents.” Tyler nodded.
“It is funny how similar it is, but, not quite the same without the presents under a tree” he chuckled.
“Hmmm well that would be a change of things, everyone giving each other things? That would be a bit tricky. How do you know what everyone needs? Probably a lot of hassle trying to get something for your family and friends!” The Bovine snorted as Josh and Tyler exchanged knowing glances.
“Of course you’d have a real problem with her Ladyship.” Maria said as the two looked up.
“How do you mean?”
“Eh? Oh come now. How could you give her anything? She has a a whole town devoted to her. They say she has piles of gold and riches under her bed. She has more power in one of her fingers am’ sure then most wizards do in there whole body! What sorta gift you kin give such a Lady?” The three were suddenly silent for a moment. No one said much more as Josh continued to thumb through the pages. Eventually he stopped.
“Wow…” was all he said before giving a heart felt sigh. Towards the end of the book was a two page engraving of a picturesque wintery scene. A tiny cabin perched on the top of a craggy mountain as snow gently fell around it. Smoke curled from a chimney as moonlight illuminated the snowy landscape.
“It’s beautiful” Tyler said softly, thinking of his home on Earth.
“It’s perfect” said Josh as he looked up at the others.
“How do you mean? Tyler asked, “Perfect for what.”
“For Thetral! What sort of gift could you possibly give her? Someone who has a whole town serving her and attending to her?” He said before once more looking at the serene setting of the cabin in the snow.
“You could give her a place to be alone…”
