I so miss 'snickerdoodles'. My local supermarket used to sell Pepperidge Farm 'Snickerdoodle' cookies around the holiday season; but not this season! The closest thing I'd bought was their "Milano Slices" (Dark Chocolate with Sweet Toffee flavor).

'It's been many hours since the baking started. They've rolled into days. The heat from the oven is oppressive. The smell of snickerdoodle has dulled my senses. I can no longer think about anything but cookies and baking and cookies and baking and cookies. Help... they won't stop. He just keeps making the dough and putting it on trays! My god, he's a machine! A beast! Hell bent on ensuring there's nothing but snickerdoodles. SNICKERDOODLES'
