if you think this one took me a long time... check out that one... it's in tempera and watercolour with some inks. that took about 1 full year to complete.

Your picture resembles a Renessaince painting I saw (sunshine, castles, landscape etc...). The main difference was the view included some bits in front of the castle where there was a war going on. Was meant to show how the beauty of the landscape/sun could overshadow the war going in the foreground. Can't remember it's name now. Was it your inspiration?
At any rate, I really like it. I love the vibrant blues in the sky and the sunlight gleaming through. Very ethereal.
