A - Human
B - Human w/ animal
C - Anthro animal
D - Animal w/ human
E - Animal
I've seen many variations of this chart, but I feel most of them are not organized very well, so I made my own version that is much simpler.
A - Human
Just your run of the mill human. So, not at all cool or interesting.
B - Human w/ animal features
Still just a human, but with distinguishable animal features. For example: Animal ears, animal nose, tail, possibly claws and fangs or whiskers. Still no fur or paws. Essentially, human anatomy with some animal additions.
C - Anthro animal (or, more human-like anthro animal)
An even mix between animal anatomy and human anatomy. Key animal parts, such as fur, an animal head, paws, claws, possibly pawpads, a tail, etc. Key human parts, such as a human build with human arms and legs (with fur), hair, thumbs, breasts (and possibly nipples), clothes, etc.
D - Animal w/ human features (or, more animal-like anthro animal)
Essentially "E," except the character would walk on two legs, and possibly wear clothes. Would not have any human-specific features (like breasts or thumbs.) Would have an animal build, only adjusted upright. Essentially, an animal anatomy with some human additions.
E - Animal (or, feral animal)
Just a plain animal. No thumbs. Walks on four legs. No clothes other than accessories (collar, bow, etc.)
SOOOO you're probably wondering why this looks like absolute shit! The reason is that I experimented with different coloring methods, and they looked HIDEOUS and ruined the drawing. All I have is this crappy picture I took of the lineart with my phone. I hope you can look past the overall atrocity of it for the sake of the chart itself.
