From the outfits, I'd say they're warriors not hunters. The vixen is wearing a cape and the buck is wearing shorts and a pull over shirt. Not the best outfits for hunting. (I know. I used to be a hunter.)

I don't know if archers have squires or if they have apprentices but, I wouldn't complain about being the vixen's apprentice. Woo-hoo. I do love a foxy female. (Yes, I said it and I'm proud I did. LOL.)

And I see that they're both using recurve longbows. That's something you don't see very often these days, except in drawings.

I thought True Ancient History Fantasy bows all had like eighty different moving parts with cables and pulleys and clockwork springs that go in all different directions when you draw back one of the twelve strings

What!? A video game lying to the player? Never! LOL. I will say this, though, the amount of poundage (approximately 100+ lbs. (45+ kg.)) a long bow the size of either of these would make it VERY difficult for most females to pull. I'm not being sexist; I'm just stating the a 100 lb. woman couldn't pull a 100 lb. bow without a LOT of training and muscles. Plus, the vixen's bow looks to be longer than she is tall.
