when you post an image larger than 1280px on one side, FA converts it to a crappy quality jpg and all transparency is lost (which then turns black)

to get around that you can either resize it to have no sides longer than 1280px before you upload, or you click change submission file and simply reupload the same thing (that's how people upload high res pics on here)
