Another recent piece, drawn last month

i wasn't totally sure how to catagorise this since it is both a human and animal piece, so i just stuck it in doodle lol.

anyway, this is my first real attempt at realistic eyes and i didnt use any references. this is just from general knowledge of eyes that i have developed.

it's obvious that the top eye is human and the bottom is animal, but im not really sure which animal the bottom eye came from. its most likely some form of cat. i wasnt really thinking about it at the time lol.

unfortunately the only drawing paper i have is very rough as you can see. these look much better at a smaller size...but this is the smallest i could get.
