One of the best parts of staying at a hotel is getting to live in luxury for a time. Spending your evening relaxing in the pool with your lover and enjoying the outdoors with a little booze is certainly a great way to do it.
This was a fun little challenging commission. I stretched my ability with backgrounds and outdoor lighting, and especially with water and reflections, quite a lot with this one. I'm steadily getting happier with how I depict simpler-yet-decent backgrounds. I think it helps that I've been paying more attention to using foreground elements, too.

You've gotten a hell of a lot better since doing my commission at the water park! The refraction effects always need to be minimised (they look odd when drawn) but the haziness is spot-on. (or rosette-on, to be more precise.) The addition of the two fronds adds to the composition, and the background is one to be proud of!
