has upgraded his Alfredo sauce, see what you think!******************************
Re-made another dish of mine I made back in August and I think this looks much better.
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1/2 cup of butter
1 1/2 cup of milk
6 oz of grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic
pinch of basil
pinch of black pepper
I added in leftover chicken I had.
Let's start off by grabbing a medium size pot, throw in your butter allowing it to melt fully. Once your butter has melted fully you're going to add in your cream cheese (You don't have to do this, but it helped me I cut my cream cheese into four blocks. It helps melt your cheese better) allowing it to melt as you stir it occasionally. Now slowly, start pour your milk in (add in 1/2 cup each time), once your milk is all in you're going to bring to a boil and in your seasoning including your Parmesan cheese. If you want your chicken to have chance to warm up cut up and throw it in to the pot while your mixing in your seasonings.
Now, what I've served the Alfredo sauce on is angel hair, but you can serve it over whatever you like.
