He would either sandwich his prey between his tail and his chest, restraining it with his hands as the tail suctions to it and smothers it face
Or the tail simply lays down heavy, or pins the prey against the wall

They are relatively small - still a good deal larger than most though...
Well, unlike his pouch, or his tailmaw, his lips, or his suckers, you can actually last a while paying tribute to them - so good luck~

Bloop has got a habit of smothering and disabling mammals with those, and interrogating/taking various advantage of the prey such caught while it is drained and helpless...
But who knows, Bloop probably did offer these unique "services" privately before~

Wait, so is that smaller creature thrusting into the Paw of the bigger purple creature? Is that why there is what appears to be a slit in the purple creatures Palm in the first panel? I must admit, this is very different and very exciting at the same time

He just grasps you, ambushing and restraining you, his handpaws lifting your legs and bringing them into his pouch with a smooth, well-practiced motion, and by the time you realize who has you you are already being drained, your arms held down by his huge, soft paws, and you shoulders, and then your head and face, are pushed down and fed slowly into his pouch~
