If I ever do some atmospheric black/doom stuff like Elysian Blaze or Midnight Odyssey I'd definitely want you to do something like this for the cover

I learned the way I do smoke by trying and failing to do bm and doom logos so thats very appropo

Dude you should at least check Elysian Blaze's artwork, dude does all the music & paintings himself, they're nuts. Blood Geometry is amazing

I love the atmosphere in this! Even better that it uses very few colors. The black shading is intense and ominous, but what I like most is the amount of detail in that chest fuzz <3

I can't help but imagine how amazing this would look animated, with the glow shifting slightly, like how a candle illuminates nearly objects in the dark and how the light source moves slightly when it flickers. Does that make sense? Animating the smoke trails would be a whole other thing though, haha.

I can totally imagine that! Especially the smoke wafting and coiling around in the air, I've always loved watching candles flicker
