Well it took me long enough to notice that my art is coming out incredibly pixelated. So if anyone can explain to me how to crop pictures it would be greatly appreciated^^.

I mean, I do it in paint, and it comes out fine. I use that box-selection, select the parts I want, cut it out, (ctrl-x), and open up a new image that I then paste it to.
Works fine for me.
But if your looking for some more advanced photo-shop software, you can look into GIMP. Its pretty much as powerful as adobe photoshop but completely free, it just takes a bit to get use to.
