This is one of the wheels off a 1981 Isuzu Pup 4x4 that was picked up for a shop truck. This gives you and idea of how bad the wheels were when I started working on them. The truck is badly rusted in places and the bed cross members were all but rusted off... this is what you get when you mix saltwater and steel.

That is what happens when your state uses salt on the roads for snow and ice too. Its takes alot longer but it is the same effect. The big snow states have this issue.

I know that's why old classic cars in those states are hard to find.
