And yes people Kris does have chest fur. It doesn't show on his Jacket version because the chest fur is under the Body category, same thing as the Jacket and you can only equip one at a time.
Again a personal complaint I have with Sonic forces. The customization system, had potential but drop the ball at the same time, is very awkward. But being the "limited options and Take what i have" type of guy I always find ways what's better but in my opinion, I say this could have make the character customization system far more better. But overall i am middle ground with this....somewhat.
