I haven’t posted here about a lot of my characters, but this is Veronica. Veronica Owens-Isabelle DuBois.

She was a middle schooler with an edgy goth best friend, who unwittingly got her hands on what was essentially a copy of the necronomicon abridged version. A slumberparty was turned into a massacre when as a joke said friend read a passage, and wound up calling a void beast into the body of her friend Veronica.

This beast instantly was on board with the whole ordeal, and instantly dissolved the panther’s best friend, and absorbed from her a knowledge of the inner workings of meat creatures. Then when she did it to her parents and brother, consuming and adapting them, she learned language, and normative behaviors.

As she was pumping a bunch of strange eldritch eggs into the mailman the day that followed, she decided it would be best to act as an observer in this world, to behave as normally as she possibly could for the time being. To see what would come of this world now that she was in it.

And so: as a very normal high school panther gal, her hobbies are boys, makeups, corruption, rock and roll music, laying eggs in things and places and cooking.
