"Fight it my friend!"
Von shouted into the face of his attacker, stuggling to keep the massive bull from pinning to the burning earth. Both of them may have been powerful, but the demon's curse flowing through Waru's veins made him overwhelmingly strong.

"You are better then this!" The rex tried again to reach his friend, hoping that deep down there was a tiny part of soul that had yet been tainted. "Don't let the corruption rule you, come back to us!"

Muscles bulged and strained as the two fought for dominance. Von trying his hardest to hold off his former friend yet not injure him in anyway. Waru however was not of the same mindset, as he tried to stab and gouge with horns and fang.

Von's powerful body tensed and writhed as he held firm. "Fight all you want friend, I am strong and can withstand any blow you deliver. And I will continue to do so until I can find a way to save you."

"Save me?" Waru answered, a green mist wafting from his breath as he spoke. "Who said I wanted to be saved?"

Von's eyes widened, and for a second a hint of despair glazed over his face. But with a grunt and a sneer it was soon gone, Von planted his feet firmly on the cracking earth beneath their immense weight, and tightened his grip with new resolve.

"Still... I will try!."
