People use the commission slots on my Patreon in a surprising variety of ways. I'm going to be cutting down on the commission slots and re-organizing my Patreon going into the new year but keep these ideas in mind if you are a current or future patron:
-Doubling up: some people have used multiple months worth of pledges to get double and even triple the amount of characters in their commissions. I like it when people do this because I VERY much enjoy working on big complicated pieces and it allows me to stretch the piece out over my schedule and do a really good job.
-Small Upgrades: people send me additional money on their normal, small pledges to get b/w stuff colored. It doesn't take long so I don't usually mind.
-War-Gaming: some people use their monthlies to get me to illustrate their novels or even just visually flesh out ideas for characters and stories. Over the course of months and now even years some Patrons have created vibrant and diverse personal visual playgrounds. It doesn't just have to be single ideas, pieces can tie together larger narratives.
Said Patreon if any of this, or just supporting my work and comics in general, sounds cool: https://www.patreon.com/bone
Anywho, this piece is for friend
warthog117 who is currently writing a novel about this devilishly handsome man: Kay! Hopefully as the months go on we'll find out more about him~
