Gemma pul needs you to stay alive after all he did pretty much proposed to you and you don't d tenickly say yes plus your family will be there for you when you and pul are ready so please don't die for pul you should get sofocles to come with you and you will still have someone in your blood family still alive so please don't give up on pul he needs you and you need him.
Even though Jack has sacrificed his life to save you, you are given a second chance due to your pure heart. Now you must choose, Gemma. You can stay with your family, but in doing so, you won't be able to return to the realm of the living, in thus abandoning the one person that cared for you, Paul, or if you decide to return to the realm of the living to help you put Paul's heart at ease, even though your family won't be able to see you again, but they will watch over you from Heaven. Can one gentle and pure soul be to have her path "found" and ready to help put the heart at ease of one person? ...Let's find out. The choice is yours, Gemma.
Gem, don't go with them, not yet. if what Zee said is true and they will be together forever, then they will be watching over you, and waiting for you til your time comes naturally. you have someone waiting for you in the land of the living, and seeing as you unlocked a little side, and he seems fine with it, you may have found yourself a caretaker too.

As I said on the previous page, is Gemma dead? Souffle is still alive, although he's willing to die. If Gemma was dead, they wouldn't need to implore her to come with them, she would already be there. So, were they able to resuscitate her in the hospital, and we just don't know yet? OR, is she dead and what happens in the hospital depends on her decision here?
Although she's not wearing the locket Paul gave her, she still has to remember it.
If Nicole and the boys were alive, in some manner, I would say that her choosing to go back to Paul would hurt them, but they certainly aren't alive and haven't been for 30 some years. However, Paul is alive, and him losing her would be devastating to him. Either way, someone is going to get hurt out of this, but better to choose Paul now, the others can wait, they've been waiting for 30 years or so.
I dunno, the Squig said there would be an 'alternate ending' so maybe we'll see it both ways, and we can choose the one we like best. For me, I hope she decides that Paul is whom she needs to be with, and is able to raise her own family, maybe two boys named ZeeZee and Rasile, and a daughter named Nicole.

This is always the question of what truly goes on in the minds of those we love whom are in this unconscious state.
It makes me think of the film sublime a little bit. It's about a patient that experiences all these horrible things and it turns out he was actually still in the hospital struggling with things in his mind unable to awake from Coma.
So in his mind he had the choice to continue fighting to wake from Coma in his mind or end it all.

the pain of the choice here. Lose the family she always wanted and only have them in her dreams, or lose her life and the man who loves her with all his heart and wants to be her one and only and would never betray her trust. this is a no win scenario for our precious little squiggle but she has to choose.
Going with her family would make poor Paul very unhappy. Gem might find herself forced to choose between her boyfriend and her family. On the other hand she can see her family at night in her dreams and her boyfriend at daylight in work. Hopefully the hospital will declare Gem fully cured.
Wondering if this is a happy ending or not, it's strange I know in the living world this is her choosing death it would seem, unless baby gem just wants to say goodbye, but it kinda seems like a happy ending the family back together, for everyone but Paul and Jack its a nice ending, wonder what the afterlifes like though is it really how zeezee thinks it is?
