Good comicstrip storytelling. The amount of setting detail & ink technique could place this story right at home in a 1890s or 1920s humor magazine. But they wouldn't 'get' the nail gun. 8D

Crow quill pens were getting scarce 10 years ago. Semi-seriously, the USA supply of some of the steel pen nibs favored by dip-pen cartoonists were getting very curtailed 10 years ago. Has this improved? Imported pen-points?
