ZOMG! This happened to me at AC! I got a sandwich and ate it outside under a tree, and within less than a minute, there were at least 20 birds hovering very near by. I don't think the realized I was watching them as intently as they were watching my sandwich. Felines are fun like that. =^-^=

I love the colouring on the birds and patterns too o.o

I use photoshop layers! when I color, I put the outlines in the top most layer, the flat colors in the bottom layer, and then between them I have a layer for shadows (a medium grey with a slight blue/purple tint, with layer property set to "multiply) and one for highlights (white painted on with a soft, blurry brush with opacity set to control by tablet pen pressure, with the layer set to "overlay")

I explain how I do a lot of stuff during my streams, if you ever have the chance to join in I'm always happy to answer questions. ^_^
