“Sometimes...you have to unfollow people in the real life too.”
“You're late...as usual. Good evening." Sipping on some hot chocolate, Whisper motioned for the tall doberman to join her at the table, her demeanor unusually pleasant for a change. On a whim, she felt like going out this evening but wanted some company. However, since it was New Years Eve and she knew most of her other friends already had plans, she called up the only guy she knew had as much of a social life as she did-
"You know, you could have worded your choice in asking me out better than, "Say Grimm, since you don't have a life either, want to hang out? Not to mention, I'm still recovering from that nice little "gift" you got me for my birthday. You're lucky I said yes, you little imp." Grimm tried to frown but couldn't help but smile as he petted her head. "Thank you for inviting me; it's always a pleasure to spend time with you- especially when you are not trying to maim or kill me..."
Holding up her cup of hot chocolate, she motioned him to lift his cup as well. "A toast: may the next year be as memorable, lucrative, and exciting as this one was!"
"Cheers..." Hearing the bell tower off in the distance strike midnight, Grimm gave Whisper a knowing look- the new year was here. Which meant all new missions and adventures were in store for them both. Glancing out the window at the falling snow, Whisper started to pick up her belongings and head home before the snow got worse. She waved farewell to Grimm, only to have him stand up as well and walk her out. She knew telling him she did not need him to walk her home would fall on deaf ears, so she rolled her eyes and led the way.
"So...I'll see you around? I will try not to kill you unless you get in my way- you know, same as last year." She said with a chuckle...
"Understood. And Whisper? Arigatou..."

Because I had to end the year with Grimm and Whisper spending time together. Their friendship and interactions together amuse me quite a bit. I can actually see Whisper calling or texting all her friends until someone answers and asks them to join her for some coffee and witty banter for the evening. Grimm was just the (un)lucky person that happened to be around at the time. Oh well, at least it's just a quiet evening out...the perfect way to end the year.
Last piece of the year- that I will be posting that is. I have some really exciting art in store for everyone next year so stay tuned! Happy New Year everyone~

To be honest I love the stories you write for these pieces. It seems to me too often a chance for some good things to be written is passed over. This bit is pretty self explanatory but you still wrote something. I like that, it gives characters more depth. I hope to read many more pieces by you. It is very nice. And a Happy New Year to you Whisper.
Thank you so much for the kind comment- that really makes me happy. There are times I honestly debate about adding mini stories to my pieces since- well let's face it, this is the internet and not many people are on here to read, just smut the art. But some commissions I really do not like leaving blank because they seem so incomplete without a story to explain -why- I got the piece or what it means...at least that is how I see it.
So hearing that there ARE people that read what I add to the art makes me happy- and makes me want to continue to do so in the future!

Thank you! And yeah, they're...interesting together to say the least, lol. That's why I like getting art of them interacting together, because it usually ends with a cute story between them.
