An Adler 2,5 Liter "Autobahnwagen" limosine, this car was build between 1937 and 1940. Adler was a Frankfurt industrial company that buils Cars, motorcycles and office machines. Car production ended with World war 2, the company continiued to build Motorcycles in the 1950s then concentrated on office machines like typewriters and mechanical calculators. The company ceased operations 1996, when the rise of personal computers renderd most office machines obsolete. Many people dont know about Adler and that at some point in the first half of the 20th century they produced up to 20% of the cars in Germany.
