My son is normally far away from the fandom but we were having a discussion over Christmas about artwork and where I started from. When Pokemon first came out I started doodling characters and different types (I was in highschool then) and kept on drawing there after. He never knew that's where I started drawing anime from and was sort of floored by that information. He's gotten into Pokemon cards this last year, so before the year was up I decided to ask who his dream pokemon would be and what his trainer would look like and this was the result.

He might only be 11 but I hope that he knows how much I love him and that it's okay to peruse what you enjoy doing. I never thought I'd be drawing as my job which was a dream for me back when I was his age, so I'm truly content. It might not make a lot of money but it brings me much happiness. Be creative.
