So the background place may not be accurate but I'm honoured that this is my final image for 2017.
Al had come to me with the idea of an image featuring Cody and Remus along with himself airsofting. They had taken an irl photo of them together which I wanted to do a recreation of. I haven't had the opportunity to meet Remus yet, but if Al and Cody adore him, I'm sure I will too. They both have great judgement of character and incredible personalities.
May you three have an excellent 2018 and remember the great times shared.

I love how you did this one. Having a friend who served himself, he usually talks about his experiences being out on the field. He usually talks about the tension most of the time and often says that a person like myself shouldn't wear the uniform due to my Autism. However he did share a photo like this, a picture of him and his three closest friends in a scene like this. He could always count on them to back him up when the bullets started flying, and that they could always remind him how human he truely is.
Of all the military artwork I see these days, I favor these because it helps those who served remind them that they're still human and good at heart.

What a lovely comment Foxes! I never had the chance to serve in the Military myself but two of the folks in this image were serving at the time the original photo was taken, and have family serving or are veterans. I love seeing military artwork as it really hits close to home, and getting to read messages like yours brightens my spirits for the folks in the world. They do a very hard job but keeping their humanity, humility and their love for one another is incredibly admirable.
Thanx for the reassurance. It was I who was at fault since I read you message wrong.
Like I mention in my first comment, I suffer from Autism, because of this my social skills are pretty bad, and due to how people have treated me badly with prejudice and discrimination over my life, I tend to focus on the negative more than anything. When I read, I thought you were writing sarcastically. It's not easy having Autism, especially when your surrounded by those who see you as a waste-of-space, family and friends among them.
My apologies for the confusion, and I thank you for your kindness.
