Enjoyed it really well! Considering becoming a patreon of this so I can help you guys ^.=.^
Though, I understand there's no music yet, I couldn't help myself and actually put Spiral Mountain from Banjo Kazooie on the background while I played this little demo. It fitted nicely :P

This is looking fantastic! Very well done so far. The art style has loads of charisma going for it, and the animations look great. The foundation for the game is solid and I can't wait to see more characters and background pieces to be added, that'll really dial it up to 11.
The combat is simple but fun and works perfectly. His growth mechanic is very fun both visually and how it works in combat. I'm sure you guys have plenty more ideas on enemy types and additional inhale mechanics, so I just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to see what you come up with in development! ^^

I like the current direction this is going; the visuals are good, the controls are easy to understand, the idea is mostly unique, and the combat is pretty enjoyable. The only issues I have are that there's not much variety to the special moves, the fire ball is OP, and there's pretty much no story. With a lot more time you guys could have your own indie game you can sell on platforms like Steam or Gamejolt.
you only have one, right? the link that connects to Dropbox? Well, I tried the direct download from there, and nothing. It seems like it's going, but then nothing. It might be due to the fact that I'm trapped on an XP...
Also, I tried saving it to my dropbox, then copy/pasting to my Desktop, and that didn't work either.

AVG would tell me if it was blocking a program. It's a nice virus-protection program. And even then, it would just check to see if the program was dangerous, then it would give access to it back to me. What's happening is whenever I try to open the zip, my computer says it "can't be opened".
Hey! Recently tried the demo and I’m lovin’ it! However, after completing the first boss, I cannot leave the area near the boss. Is there any way to get out of this area. It’s like 4 big rooms, a checkpoint pad that teleports you into this area whenever you die, and no things that can get you out of this area.
All this really needed was a quick 'beating enemies gains xp, which you can use in the pause menu to upgrade yourself' with the other tutorial bits. I didn't know about it until trying to cross the area with the giant slimes/archers on platforms, dying a bunch and thinking 'hp or more strength here would really help' and there it was :p
The moving round and especially fighting stuff feels so satisfying, I think it's mainly the animations. Chubbed up you're a juggernaut, and speaking of the chubby mechanic it felt useful and not just for those 'into' it - better attack range/strength at the expense of downgrading for healing makes it feel more organic and part of the game. Quite interested to see what our hero can do by the end.

I actually really like the mechanics that are in place here. I played the demo not too long ago and I have to admit the whole stomach capacity thing took me by surprise. It's like a double-edge sword in a way, sure you get stronger the bigger you get and can land more punishing attacks and use more magic... but on the flip slide you're much easier to hit and you are very vulnerable to bursting which is instant-death if you're not careful. Have to admit I legit laughed when I perished because I picked up a large pile of food I should've left alone while already filled to the brim. It's like two health bars in a sense, except one dramatically affect your abilities. The fact certain enemies can inflate you to dangerous levels as well as damage you normally mixes up encounters nicely as well. I'll have to keep an eye on this game. XD
I was actually going to post a few bugs I found since I have a little experience with Game Maker (at least with earlier builds) so I'd be able to make sense and elaborate on them, but considering how outdated the public demo is it's probably not worth mentioning them at this point. Wish I could help with QA but I guess it can't be helped. I'm not interested with Patreon (donations per month/etc) but I wouldn't mind purchasing this game when you eventually release such a build.
Speaking of which... couldn't see anyone else ask this so I might as well. When you do release the game for purchase what platforms are you going to release it on? You know, things like Itch.io, steam, etc. Just curious is all.

glad you liked it! It is special feature of this game of course.
public demo is quite old, so most of the bug in it would have been fixed in latest build.
we're preparing kickstarter, which will have option to access early access build so please check it when it's on :)

Early access sounds good, It would allow a few more people to help iron out any extra bugs that may have been missed. It would also be extra feedback, which is always a good thing. Just remember to let us know when the build goes up so we don't miss it, can't support the release if we don't know about it. XD
