Faye is a Sylveon who suffers from a weak bladder, and therefore has to wear medical diapers all the time. While some see it as a benefit (and while Faye kinda sees it as that), she also sees it as a downside too. At her old school, she was constantly bullied, teased, and pushed around for her incontinence; this lead to her becoming extremely shy and nervous. Eventually after meeting a few certain diaperfurs, she lightened up to them and eventually decided to transfer to Trixie's school where there were less bullies for her to deal with. She's still quite nervous and can get easily upset, but maybe she'll eventually become as brave as her new friends.
