It finally works after four years of having problems! It was recapped, but would never receive well at all here at my home, so I gave up on this little four tube radio-phono and almost resold it a few times. Luckily I didn't. Opened it up a few days ago to find that one of the wires going to the tuner had broken loose due to Arvin using overly short wires to connect the remotely mounted tuner to the chassis. Repaired that, then the 50L6 went bad, finally after another issue, found it needed the volume control cleaned again. Anyways, it now works as good as one of these little sets can. Might have to get the magnetic phono cartridge rebuilt later, but it's a lot further ahead!
