So I'm just about to shut down my laptop when slaton walks in and asks if I had ever uploaded this image. Oops! I completely forgot to include this in my submission spam upon returning to FA and it was the most important one to me. XD
This was done while I was still bed bound and getting restless without drawing, so I eventually got into my office and brought my tablet back to bed to see if I could connect to the laptop without him seeing and literally sat in bed while he was asleep trying to sketch/ink/colour this in hopes he wouldn't wake up to see what I was working on. Then for the next week the tablet lived in my sock drawer so he wouldn't find it and wonder what I was getting up to. I got as far as laying a shade layer on this and had to stop there, so its not as refined as my normal works are, but it was the sentiment that meant more.
Then had help printing and then mounted this in a frame to give him on our anniversary.
He's always been a very generous and gentle soul with me and when I heard this saying I thought "yeah.. thats appropriate." I couldn't tell you where it originated from, sadly.
