A friend of mine here on FA wanted me to build a 1/24th scale model of the character Zig Zag driving a pristine, white 55 T-bird awhile ago. That's why I've always had a "Soft Spot" in my head for that style of the iconic US Sports car.

55 to 57 Ford Thunderbird... The T-bird came out in 55 as a response to Corvette but it stated that the T-bird was a business coupe not a sports car... Friends had one of these first gen cars and it rode rather nice as I remember a friends first gen Corvette rode more like a truck
