Sure enough, Jake and Sera were sitting around at the courtyard talking over things to study. Kari went to them with Matthew, and Tori followed behind them. Quickly Kari explained how Matthew had three other personalities in his head, and that one of them was a killer and the rest were good people.
"So his current problem is this killer personality.." Jake said and then started to ponder.
"That must have been the one who killed orcs and fought away that behemoth back then?" Sera added, "But would it hurt us? It didn't back at that same moment."
"No, just trust me," Kari said a few feet from Matthew "This personality will kill ANYONE."
"Why haven't you come o help earlier." Tori asked,"There's this thing called medicine. they have stuff to help you."
Kari glared at Tori when she made the remark, but Lass was the one to answer. "Well, Matt did 'ave some, but we threw it out."
"Because of course you did." Tori said and rolled her eyes.
"This would explain more of Matthew's constant worrisome." Jake added "Why did you toss it?"
"Every time he took it we'd just vanish!" Lass looked at him with a sense of fear in Matthew eyes, "Once the medicine kicked in Brian and I were just gone, and we don't even know where?"
"Why does that even matter?" Tori growled "You're not even people, you're just a personality."
Matthew's ears twitched a bit and his eyes started to become more relaxed "If these other personalities gone, you'd have lost a tutor."
Tori's eyes widened at Matthew's sudden tone shift in him, "Wait who is this now?"
"The guy who'd impress everyone in our math class." Brian said "And I too helped to keep that medicine away."
Jake and Tori stared at him for a bit longer then Tori broke the silence "Okay, barring that, why not a mental hospital?"
"I've argued the same thing to Matthew as well," Brian said, "But he thinks they won't be able to stop The First."
"No, You'd be in good hands there." Jake said "Monsters have hidden in a lot of mortals society so they can hide better."
Brian's eyes got big and looked at the seer in his glasses "We haven't taken classes with that kind of information."
"Yeah," Brian said "They're in the all every hospital and emergency service, They could keep you in check no matter what monster you are."
"Monsters in the all those things.." Brian looked away and pondered "I still don't think he would head to a hospital."
"Are you kidding me?" Tori said, but then Jake grabbed her shoulder
"He's got schizophrenia." Jake reminded her "Odds are its a delusion or Matthew's paranoid; probably the latter what with how things have been for him. Actually, it's impressive he came to his friends for help on this."
"He got desperate and finally listened to me." Brian said, "The First has been gotten a lot more rampant recently."
Jake's ears flipped straight up "The killer personality?"
"I'm also starting to think it's not even a personality." Brian said "I cant tell because Matthew does more than just sees and hears it like Lass and I. It attacked us."
"No way, it shouldn't be able to, schizophrenia or not." Jake said.
"What if it's a spirit, or some kind of demonic entity?" Kari asked "Maybe one of those has been haunting him."
"Then Well help him get rid of it." Sera said and cracked the knuckles of all four of her hands "I was taught to be a fighter, If it comes out I think a rakshasa and nightmare can handle it with the help of kari."
"We don't even know what Matthew or Kari is though." Jake said "And The First one a fight of three against it. If we're gonna face this, we need to learn what we can about our opponent."
"Could we maybe say so over some food?" Brian asked "Lass is starting to whine about our stomach."
"I know where to go, but then no more stalling." Tori said "I want this done so we can get back on track at ASA."
Jake just sighed "This stuff is never easy."
