what happened?

Car accident while drunk driving that was a suicide attempt. Wound up in a tar pit outside McKittrick.

Yeah, 2009 was a rotten year for me. Started off with my girlfriend ripping me off for $800 and then dumping me. 3 weeks later, I get laid off from my job I worked at for almost 5 years. So-called friends of my folks start taking advantage of us. And then my Dad and I have a huge fight over bullshit that had nothing to do with me and I lose it, thinking I was gonna be homeless, I go into town, spend all $33 I had on me to buy two-fifths of Black Velvet and a small bottle of Wild Turkey. I leave Taft and start downin' the bottles of fire water on my way to the coast, not caring if I make it there alive or not. Within 13 miles, I downed all 3 bottles and was shitfaced drunk before I even made it to McKittrick. I make it all the way to Hwy. 58, turn to go towards the coast, and black out. I wake up the next morning in a tar pit, in the passenger seat of my car, which was totaled, covered completely in tar to the point I could only see out of my left eye. Took me 2 tries to climb out of the pit in my condition, nobody stopped to help me, somehow my cell phone still work despite being covered mostly in tar and I dialed 9-1-1 myself!

It's alright. Dad and I patched things up, I'm alive and kickin', I'm living on the beach and having the time of my life ^_^, and I don't have to deal with payments on that fuckin' car anymore! XD
