There are Unit members who have never eaten a human. #4 has eaten hundreds of dogs, cats and other animals, but never a human. Neither has #8. And #6, among others, will take a few bullets and still carry you off to jail alive and well, if maybe a bit bruised.
The female Unit members are by and large less generous. #9 has digested four would-be rapists and counting, #7 has eaten half a dozen people (some intact and some in pieces) and them there's #3.
#3 has, as the station house joke goes, made more people into the world's leading expert on werewolf digestion than any other Unit member. It's a short lived honor, either a couple of minutes or a couple of days depending on whether you count just your life or your body's trip through her digestive tract, but if you're out to get it #3 is your best bet. Pump a couple of bullets into her and you'll spend the night inside her, and not in the fun way.
As far as anyone knows, no one has shot her in a deliberate effort to get eaten. Then again, how would you ask them? With an endoscope and a great deal of haste?

The character design is based on Skyrim werewolves, though Skyrim wolves are a bit bulkier. This whole thing started when there was a car chase on TV and the reporter said they might call in a K9 unit once the crook bailed out of the stolen car. For some reason I instantly thought "What if Skyrim werewolves worked for the police."
Seems the weres can take down humans relatively easy. What if they had to capture weres who just turned that are so disorientated and scared that they are a danger to themselfs and the public? Or worse if some decided that crime and freely eating people is a better option then law enforcement? After all our hero's in blue have K-9 units, but often criminals have dogs to..
Kind of interesting you mentioned this. My book (I finished my first book, yay!) revolves around a mass outbreak of people turning into werebeasts to such an extent that hundreds to thousands are being turned daily and my main character (who works for the police) has his work cut out for him, as he is not only the main investigator on the case (he's part of the investigative staff as well as police force), but is constantly having to deal with more and more outbreaks of people turning at a moments notice, most of them being completely freaked out and panicking.
