I've been meaning to do a full body picture for teh mommas for a while now, and for whatever reason, it just didn't want to happen. Til now. ^^ I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't behind some of this 'temporans infantego' nonsense, being the type who thrives on mischief, albeit behind the scenes (and some very accomplished shield spells). We're still trying to iron out a fursona for my dear, but for now, a rainbow tailed red panda seems appropriate (as she was the inspiration behind Jodie from Wayward Wings)

MMmmMmmMMmmm...are you sure? I can't think of any Slytherin character portrayed in a positive light during Harry's time there yah know... By that I mean the students, not the adults who were previously in Slytherin...
Oh gosh, debating Harry Potter on a furry website concerning a fanfiction involved with Hogwarts students in diapers...I'm not sure what kind of nerdy that is..

actually, forgive me for takeing you seriously, but Rowling once made a comment during an interview that she was intentionally writing the book from a biased standpoint, heavily prejudiced against slytherin, really the houses dont intermingle much in general, im sure even hufflepuff has its jerks...
Note after all, the sorting hat wanted to put harry in slytherin, not because of a chunk of voldemorts soul in his head, but because he had the right attributes for it, he just had a bad experience that made him prejudiced against the house before he even arrived at hogwarts and he was too dumb for Ravenclaw and too much of a trouble maker for hufflepuff

On the one hand, the fact that I've not encountered HP AR art before Reva's pics here surprises me a bit. On the other hand, well, it's the internet, so it exists. I have seen an awesome Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Harry Potter crossover fanfic, so I'm willing to acknowledge the existence of other things.
As for Percy, I will point out that he did demonstrate remarkable courage later on, when he admitted to his family that he'd been wrong and a stuck-up git. That probably took a lot. Besides, the houses aren't clearly delineated, with each person having only one trait. People are more complicated than that. You're sorted in based on your most important trait (and personal request, as Harry proved), but there are always other traits. Neville never seemed like he fit into Gryffindor properly for a few books, while Hermione could probably do well in Ravenclaw. And we know that Harry would have done great things in Slytherin. Oooh, talk about a potential conflict of interest for Snape there: on the one hand, he favors his house, and on the other hand, he hates Harry for being James' son. That could be an interesting topic.
one, Percy demonstrated courage by admitting he was wrong only after he had absolutely no option left to do otherwise, but whats more, slytherins are capable of being courageous, after all, Draco was sent to do in a wizard that even voldemort still feared, granted he lost his nerve to actually go through with it but for all he knew Dumbledore could have cursed him into ashes the moment he walked through the door, Draco wasnt exactly close enough to the head master to know for a fact he would never do such a thing...
And actually, i had this conversation about harry and snape just the other night...If harry hadnt been so immovable on being placed in Slytherin, theres a could chance he would have united the houses of hogwarts in a way that they had not been in centuries...He had already forged a friendship with Hagrid and Ron, and probably would have ended up friends with Hermione, one way or another, the difference is he might have managed to pull draco's head out of his ass...all this is academic how ever, but one thing i believe to be fact, is that if harry had been in snape's house, Snape would have viewed him not as the reflection of the man he loathed, but of the woman he loved more then his own life, he may well have even become a father figure to him in much the same way Dumbledore and sirius ultimately did...two paths, diverged in a wood, harry took the path with less thorns, but who knows the other path held

I can't think of any other positive Slytherins either, unfortunately. Though I can see a reason for them siding with Voldemort, however briefly, in the final battle: Voldemort would have favored them above the other houses and not bothered them all that much, and considering how badly Neville got beat up, that would be something.
As for how nerdy it is, it's a special kind of nerdy. I think it's cute.

the story never specifies that Slytherin house favored voldemort...one of the attributes associated with Slytherin is that they tend to follow their own self interest...
in other words, why take sides? you might pick the losing one, better to just duck out of the way till the dust settles
