Seymour was always a little brat, and as a child he would be a mean bully to the other kids and often steal their toys (even if he can afford or already have what he gets) or push them down the slide. His raccoon behaviour stopped somewhere around middle school, but he continued to play mean girls until the end of high school (he's still somewhat a spoiled bitch, but at least now he knows how to be likeable and kind to others)

Niall on the other hand was a loud crybaby. He's a slow learner, and as a kid it took him a little longer than the other kids to learn basic things such as walking and speaking; and of course children have no mercy and he got mocked everytime he misspelt anything - which made him learn even slower because he was always afraid of asking questions.
