Another quick doodle + color for the now-defunct blog thingy.
I think that's all I ever did for it.... Kinda sad how I didn't have much of a hand in it...

Well you're in luck! I actually have a small list of songs in different stages of fooling around with. "Lyricosis" can be a blessing, sometimes (Or rather, slightly hard of hearing.). ;) Heh heh... Weird Al and Dr. Demento were definitely an influence on my little adolescent brain.
I dunno.... I think I have about ten songs on FA by now... Though not all parodies. I keep toying with this silly idea of somehow finding a way to perform at a con someday. But I've never even gone to one yet! And all I have under my belt as far as live performances go are school plays, and saxophone recitals! ;)

Ten, eh? I shall have find the rest then... Dr. Demento? not heard of him, probably before my time, not that that's stopped me before! Eh, not such a silly idea, but you might have to recruit some other talented furs so you'd have a full musical accompaniment. You? Never been to a con? I didn't expect that! Why would that be? If you don't mind me asking?
Ol' Dr. D. is who introduced the world to Weird Al. I think he still runs a radio show where he just plays all sorts of outlandish and silly music. ;)
I don't know... I know a few old friends who are in the fandom that can play some instruments... I was just thinking since I have all the music files, to just take out the audio track... but real people in a band sounds a lot more fun.
I've been to a few anime/comic conventions when in college, but all the furry conventions are either too far, at the wrong time, or I get to spend my mad money on something "useful" like.... repairing my car, or taking my cat to the vet... Time is my greatest enemy more than anything else. There's never enough of it to go around for everything I want to do. *sighs*

I know how that goes, when I was working full time I had the money to do some of the stuff I wanted to, but never enough time or energy, and now that I've joined the ranks of the unemployed I have nothing BUT time and no money to finance my projects. At least I can work with the supplies I've already acquired. Also, you pretty much described all the reasons I haven't been to a con yet.
Heh, ain't it the truth, and thanks. I'll wish you good fortune in staying sane at your job, at least, as sane you are now... ;p Hmm, it might be cathartic for you to draw something envisioning your work struggles, perhaps a poor cheetah hanging from a ledge/pole/wire by it's claw-tips, like that old 'hang in there baby' poster... Just a thought.
