Author's notes: Okay now the time has come for the tale of Jack Russo. First of all I really love how this came out to say the least. I certainly tried my best to make him and this little female look seven. Now some of my effort will be put into this story. Even if the pics that go with the chapter may not be the best the story should be tried at least. While Nicholas and Topaz will appear in this, the main focus is going to be on our son Jack. With that in mind, let's get to it.

Meet in Park
Jack Russo's story began when he was at the age of seven. It was Summer, almost before he would start the second grade. The little vulpine was living a very happy life with his family. Nicholas and Topaz due to the work they had done were still in great physical condition and had the looks. They did modeling work on the side but most of the money had come from they had done earlier. Investing and saving had made it so money wouldn't be a problem. His siblings were older now and he was a good older brother to him. Like his father, he knew it was his job to look after and protect them. That's why he had been born first.
When it came to him mom and dad's friends a few he saw on a regular basis, others not as much due to them living in different states. But when these guys came to visit he was happy to see them as he liked them. Of course even with all this life was about to throw him a curve ball the vulpine hadn't been expecting. It all started on a Saturday. Jack's family were at a local nearby park to enjoy the last days of the summer vacation before school started for him. It found the little vulpine with a ball and he was kicking it down hill. Suddenly Jack slipped, lost his balance, and went rolling down the hill. When he got to the bottom the male just laid there for a moment, then got up and brushed himself off. He winced in pain when he noticed he had cut himself slightly on his knee. But the male was a tough little kit.
“Jack!” Topaz came running up to her son, took the knee, and examined his injury. She sighed. “You like have to be more careful.”
“But there’s no fun in that.” The mother vixen rolled her eyes with amusement before looking down at him.
“Does it hurt?”
“No, not really.” The vixen then went through her purse and grabbed a small band aid out, and placed it on thoroughly.
“Well then let’s put this on here at least.”
“Oh, okay.” Topaz giggled a bit before standing back up.
“Keep playing a bit longer and I’ll like get a treat for all of us.” Jack’s face lit up and his mother patted his soft head.
“Alright then!” The young vulpine contained kicking his ball down the field while his mother walked over to a little concession stand. All of a sudden he looked up and could see he was at a sandbox. It was preoccupied with a female playing inside it. It was a bob cat but her fur was black and had bright blue eyes. The female who was also seven had constructed some towers and was building another one to add to her castle. It didn’t take long for the feline to finish this one. She giggled happily, clearly raised well and happy like the little vulpine. For some reason Jack didn’t move, but watched her. Suddenly four boys walked up to her, with their leader stepping right onto the tower that had just been built. The feline looked up to them sadly.
"This is our area and you can't play here. Get lost,” stated the tallest one, obviously the leader.
"Why not?" asked the feline.
"Because this is our sandbox and we don't like cats here." They pushed her down, and destroyed her sand castle. The little bob cat felt a few tears forming in her eyes.
"Hey! Leave her alone!” The feline looked up to see Jack standing there. So did the boys.
"Why should we?" asked their leader who got up and right in front of the vulpine. Doing this showed he was a few inches taller than Jack.
"Cause you can't pick on a girl like that! What did she do to you?" They laughed at the small vulpine.
"Mind you're own business if you know what's good for you," said their leader. Jack grabbed his shirt, and brought him down to meet his gaze. The fox glared the other male down, bringing fear into him.
"Try me," he growled. The fox pushed the other boy, making him trip over the sandbox guard, falling down to the ground. The opponent got up and swung a fist at Jack. But the vulpine dodged easily and sent a punch of his own. It made contact, knocking the other boy down again. The male began to cry and he ran back to his parents with the rest following him.
Jack then turned to the bob cat with a gentile paw and warming smile. "You alright?" She just stared at him, speechless. Of how out of nowhere this little vulpine had saved her from nowhere. The female grabbed the paw he held out, blushing, having never grabbed a boy's paw before.
"Yes, thank you," she responded looking down with embarrassment as he stood her up. Jack didn’t know what the feline was doing and shrugged it off. His gaze went down to the destroyed sand castle.
"Here; let's build the castle again if you want." Her face lit up and they did so. While doing so they learned the other's name. Suddenly Topaz camping running up to her eldest son and new friend.
“Jack," she called out to him. The vulpine ran up to her with the little bob cat slowly following behind. The mother vixen noticed the new female. "Oh? Who's this?"
"Oh this is Rachel, we were just playing in the sand." Topaz looked down at the young bob cat and couldn't help but smile as she thought of cute future things. The older female still had the treats in one of her paws.
"Here, why don't like you and your little friend go play on the swing. I'll try and find your dad." Jack received two of the treats and handed one to Rachel. The young vulpine gave his mother a smile and took Rachel's free paw with his own and began walking towards the swings. She kept blushing as she stared at Jack. She thought the vulpine was cute. They made it to the swings and sat next to each other. Both swung for a bit with the female giggling happily. Until she dropped her treat causing the two to stop.
Jack held his over for the female. Rachel looked at him and could see the vulpine hadn’t quite taken a bite out of his yet. And that the male didn’t looked ashamed for giving his treat away. “It’s alright, take it.”
The female did so while blushing again. “Thank you.” After the bob cat finished it off, the two continued. But then they were called over by their parents. The female grabbed Jack’s paw to his surprise and walked them over. Rachel didn't mind as she already liked this little male. All of his siblings were there as well. Upon reaching the adults Rachel went over to her father after letting go of Jack's paw. He had her fur color on him. Her mother had her eyes.
"Hey dad," Rachel said and her father reached down to hug her softly. She noticed Jack had gone over to Nicholas.
"Rachel I'd like you to meet Nicholas Russo," the older bob cat said. His daughter looked to the vulpine with glasses who went over and kneeled down to her height and Jack's.
"Hello Rachel, I'm Nicolas. I see you already met my eldest son Jack." Rachel's gaze went to Jack and smiled warmly.
"Yeah, he helped me earlier for a group of boys picking on me." Nicholas sifted his gaze to Jack who was blushing slightly and looked the other way.
"Is that so?" The older fox patted the top of Jack's head. "Good job Jack."
"It… it was nothing," the young vulpine replied, playing with his fingers. He had a funny feeling something weird would happen.
"I never got to thank you for it either." Rachel walked up closer to Jack and planted a small kiss on his right cheek. The adults all let out a small chuckle while he blushed harder. His siblings were a bit shocked by this.
"Oh how sweet," Topaz said.
"You know… she'll be going to the same school as Jack," her mother commented. "Maybe they'll be in the same class." Nothing more was said about that as the families then went their separate ways. Nobody knew how right on the dot Rachel's mother was going to be.
