Backstory:-
Cindar has never known who they really are or where they came from - just that they were born one day, and have been travelling around since. One reason they do this is to hopefully one day, find the reason to their early-age rebirthing, maybe even find a way to stop it.
Due to this, Cindar comes across Sparkles - a hybrid. Even though the two don't travel around together all the time, there are many times they bump into each other or call upon for one reason or another. Cindar likes to think of sparkles as their good and loyal friends.
Cindar never really stays in one place for very long, however there is a time that they do go to the same spot - when their body is close to combusting, they will start to feel the effects of failing organs. when this happens, they head to the only place they feel safest: Sparkle's forest. Here they burst to flames and rise from the ashes... and stay till they've grown big and strong enough to head out travelling again.
And this is what they've been doing for hundreds of years... till they find a new purpose in life.
Extra: Cindar has a rare and odd condition where they don't age the same as other Phoenixes - they could still be at a "young" age when their body starts to fail and they combust into flames. This is what makes them one of the few constant young Phoenixes around. Every time Cindar is reborn their gender is chosen at random.
So an artist on DA is holding a small contest, and I decided to join in! Been needing to create a bird character... so here we are! Should of been uploaded days ago, but... stuff happened.
