OMG! how much would you charge to make one!? I own 2 hedgies and im thinkin about creating a hedgehog character and possibly have a suit made eventually. :)

I sadly cant make another exactly like it... I'm all out of the fur i used and I wont have time for comissions until winter. :( If I had to quote of the top of my head I would say $60 (for the tail- shipping not added)mostly because of all the quills having to be sewn and insterted by hand. But it wouldnt be the same as this one because i dont have the fur anymore. If you were willing to wait until winter and have different colors of fur I would be cool with it. I would also drop the price a bit if you wanted to provide the fur.
I am happy to hear that you are planning to make a hedgehog character too!! That makes me so happy because i cannot find many that are not sonic-based. :P

P.s. also please do tell me if that price sounds unreasonable... i'm not very good at gaging this yet. I did my math calculations based on time it took and the price of the materials i used last time. :P

so what kind of fur/ fabric did you use for it?

I used polarflece for the quills, the other two furs were just scraps of fur from previous projects... both had be purchased at Joanne fabrics. The dark brown one was about half an inch, and the blond one was about an inch with colored tips.

That's rad! I love the mix of fur and fabric; it foils the quills nicely and makes them look sturdy. The curve they have adds a nice look too. It reads very well, which is always fun to see for an unusual creature. Well done!
